More info

Sega's Wimbledon Tennis lets you create your own player in this portable video version of the world's most prestigious tennis tournament. Before challenging any of the 16 pros, each of whom is rated by power, speed, and skill, you may want to play Free Match tennis, which lets you practice singles and doubles play. Once you get the hang of the controls and the basic tennis action, you will want to move on to the Grand Slam mode, which consists of the America, Australia, France, and Wimbledon Opens. The players you will face consist of three different types: the baseline player, the net player, and the all rounder, who mixes baseline shots with rushes to the net. There are three types of court surfaces: clay, hard, and grass. While Wimbledon Tennis is primarily a one-player game, you can play a two-player game if you or your friend has another Game Gear, another copy of the game, and a Gear-to-Gear Cable. You can play against one another in one-on-one or doubles matches, or both of you can challenge the computer to doubles.
