Bill Walsh returns for his second college football game on the Genesis with 36 Division I-A teams, a windowless passing mode, customizable seasons from one to sixteen weeks, and complete statistical tracking throughout the season. New "Walsh Reports" provide detailed scouting reports for each team, and players can choose either a playoff system or bowl games with fictional names: Maple Bowl, Palm Bowl, Pecan Bowl, and Redwood Bowl. 

Four spots automatically go to the first ranked team in each conference, while the second four spots go to next highest ranked All Conference teams.
