More info

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is a title developed for the Nintendo NES from the popular movie of the same name. With Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, gamers will be asked to quest through waves upon waves of dungeon mazes while attempting to rescue as many enslaved children as possible along the way. Of course, Indiana Jones relies heavily on his bullwhip, which protects him from enemies and serves as an indispensable mode of transportation. Indy is also helped along the way by the kids he rescues. These kids provide swords, guns, keys and maps. Occasionally, these children will also exchange information on secret passages for their freedom.

Indiana Jones runs, jumps and swings between various platforms around the screen. If he misses one of these platforms, then likely he will fall into the deadly lava below. Indy is also expected to brave conveyor belts and the railway carts familiar from the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Fortunately, gamers have unlimited continues at their disposal. A necessary advantage for navigating through the challenging, maze-like environment of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
