More info

Sega Sports returns to school with their second (and final) college football game for the Genesis. Using the same engine as its predecessor, the game features five new college teams with rosters and statistics reflecting the 1994 season. Now you can play as Wisconsin, North Carolina, Colorado State, Oregon and Washington State.

In order to keep the number of teams to 32, five schools were cut from 1994's game: San Diego State, Pitt, LSU, Arkansas and Houston. Other new additions are a Record Book that keeps track of 19 different categories (three more than the original) and new, more realistic play names. Authentic team colors, logos, fight songs and college playbooks have returned with both Wishbone and Option offenses.

As in the original, you can play an Exhibition or eleven game Regular Season in your quest to reach the National Championship. Tournaments can be customized from 4, 8, 16 or 32 games and you're free to design your team's schedule in the Race for #1 game mode. Those who disliked the Sports Talk announcer in last year's game will be happy to hear that he is no longer included, and in his place are new sound effects. This 16-Meg cartridge has a battery to keep track of your team's statistics and supports the Team Player Adaptor so up to four players can play simultaneously.
