Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Sony PlayStation 3, 2007)

Terrorists and insurgents are after you in the third full installment of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" for Sony PlayStation 3. In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the World War II setting is now a more modern scene where traditional weapons are replaced with an arsenal of advanced and powerful modern-day firepower. The plot centers on two madmen, Imran Zakhaev in Russia and Al-Asad in the Middle East, who are fomenting unrest around the world in an attempt to cement their own power. You fight through the chaos as both Sergeant John MacTavish, a British SAS operative doing battle in Russia, and Sergeant Paul Jackson, a U.S. Marine fighting in the Middle East. In addition to the main gameplay, you get to join a two-man sniper team on a flashback mission in which players head to the Chernobyl Zone of Alienation on a mission to assassinate a younger Zakhaev.
